A Songdog is a slang name for a coyote. The name, Songdog, comes from the 'howling at the moon' action of coyotes. This is usually a community event in a coyote pack as it is when humans get together for their own version of 'howling at the moon'. I am of the opinion that we all need to do that from time to time.
Coyotes are a member of the dog (canine) family and are native to North America. Their range covers most of the continent. It stretches from New England in the East to Alaska in the West and Southward through most of Mexico and Central America.
Songdogs are very smart and are able to adapt to their changing environment. While they usually are to be found in their native rural habitat, they can be found in suburban settings and have been spotted in urban locations such as Central Park in New York City.

Not entitled to sit around and waste time.
Not entitled to place myself ahead of others.
I do not know what I am meant to accomplish in this life, but I am sure I have not accomplished it so far.
Until I do, I am not entitled to stop trying.
It is a good idea to learn what you can consume to stay alive if you ever need to survive while lost.
Consuming berries, insects or mushrooms could keep you alive but eating the wrong kind could make you ill or even kill you.
That would be kind of ironic.
The chances of finding yourself in a survival situation is very low for most of us so the priority level for learning this should be low.
It is still a good idea to learn this type of information.
It is a bubble up item for a good "To Do" list.
