The Tequila Sunrise has been a very popular drink since the 1960's for a couple of simple reasons. Tequila Sunrise is an easy drink to make and it tastes delicious.
Pour the Tequila and Orange Juice over ice in a highball glass. Stir before proceeding..
1.5 oz.
Tequila
4 oz.
Orange Juice
3/4 oz.
Grenadine Syrup
Tilt the glass and pour the Grenadine down the inside edge of the glass. DO NOT STIR! The grenadine will sink to the bottom and form a layer which will blend slightly with the layer of orange juice. The visual effect may remind you of a sunset sky.
Garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherrry.
